Typeform review

Typeform turns forms and quizzes into a conversational sequence with one carefully framed question at a time. It is easy to recognize, easy to embed and strong for branded conversations, but the normal Basic plan does not include the Contacts and Automations add-on.

The verdict

Should you choose Typeform?

Choose Typeform when presentation and respondent experience matter most. Contacts and Automations is a paid add-on from Plus, and is also bundled into Growth Flow.

What it does well

Three reasons to choose Typeform

These are the product advantages that materially change the buying decision.

01

Distinctive respondent experience

The one-question format creates a focused interaction that feels more conversational than a standard form.

02

Polished design

Themes, media and layout controls support branded quizzes without heavy custom work.

03

Broad form platform

The same account can cover lead forms, surveys, registrations and quizzes.

Where it falls short

Three limits to know first

A product can be excellent in its lane and still be the wrong tool for a different job.

01

Low entry response allowance

The free plan and Basic tier can become restrictive when a quiz starts attracting traffic.

02

Automation costs extra

Contacts and Automations starts as a paid add-on on Plus. It is not available on Free or Basic, and Growth Flow bundles it.

03

Not a live game

It does not replace Kahoot when a room should answer together with a leaderboard.

Choose it

When the fit is clear

Skip it

When another tool fits better

Skip the standard plans if the central requirement is a built-in contact database with multi-step follow-up at the normal quiz entry price.
